Removing cracked wall tiles.
With the grout gone it s time to get rid of the cracked tile.
Clear the surrounding area remove dirt and soap scum and put down the dustsheet or other protection.
To remove the cracked tile you first need to get rid of the grout surrounding it.
It will make less of a mess.
You can simply hold it on the grout line and it will rotate at a high enough speed to grind the grout out of the line.

If you re only trying to replace 1 2 tiles because they re cracked use masking tape or duct tape to tape off the tiles you want to remove.
A wide blade putty knife is helpful in prying the tiles loose.
Tiles installed with thinset or another tile adhesive often require more work to remove them.
Wipe clean with a cloth and allow the tile and the crack to dry thoroughly.
Remove and replace tiles.
Plug the tool in to a power socket and hold it against the grout at a 45 degree angle.
Minor cracks can be repaired with a small amount of epoxy and some paint.
If using an electric grout remover choose a suitable tip and insert into the tool following the product instructions.
The unglazed tile exposed by the crack absorbs water that isn t easily wiped dry so run a hair dryer over it for about 15 minutes to.
Using the masking tape cover the adjacent tiles around the target tile.
Remove and replace tiles.
Remove any debris from the crack and then use tile cleaner or dish detergent to remove any dust and grease.
Remove the tile with your hands if you can.
If using a manual grout remover place the blade onto the grout and scrape along it to remove it.
To get the tile off the wall you will need to use a grout saw to remove the grout around the broken tiles.
